This baked pear recipe is quick and easy, but your guests will think you work on them all day.  Serve warm with ice cream and you've got a delicious treat.

Ingredients:

  • 6 Bosc pears, halved and cored
  • 1/2 cup orange liqueur
  • 2 table spoon dried chopped dates
  • 1 pinch of cinnamon

Soak the dates in the orange liqueur for a hour.  Preheat the oven to 375 degrees.  In a glass baking pan, line the pears open side up.  Fill each cored pear half with the orange liqueur mixture and sprinkle with cinnamon.  Bake for about 45 minutes to 60 minutes or until the pears are tender.  Remove from oven immediately and serve with ice cream. Fool proof!
